The variety is a table grape intended for fresh consumption. In the breeding process, it was obtained by crossing the varieties Dattier de Beyrouth and Perle de Csaba. The variety is known under various names, including Königin der Weingärten in Germany and Austria, Reine des Vignes in France, Regina dei Vigneti in Italy, and others.
The berries are characterized by a firm structure, strong attachment to the pedicel, and uniform arrangement in the cluster; the surface of the berries is covered with a characteristic bloom. The variety served as a parent form in the creation of varieties such as Pannonia Kincse and Palatina.
