The variety is the result of crossing the varieties Pinot Gris (Ruländer) and Riesling. Also known by the breeding number Weinsberg S 385.

The plant belongs to late-maturing varieties and possesses bisexual flowers, which ensures self-pollination. Characterized by high resistance and vigor.

The variety has a technical purpose and is used exclusively in winemaking. Currently considered rare and grown in limited volumes.
