The variety is a table grape with berries that have thin skin but remain resistant to damage by wasps and true bugs. Fruiting is possible with short vine pruning.
The plant possesses increased resistance to a number of fungal diseases, including downy mildew and grey mold, as well as to winter frosts compared to traditional European varieties. It is used in scientific research on plant regeneration in vitro under the code designation N127.
