The Grk variety is considered autochthonous to the island of Korčula. It is a wine grape variety used for the production of white wines and the dessert wine Prošek. A biological peculiarity of the variety is the exclusively female flower type, due to which it is incapable of self-pollination and requires planting next to pollinator varieties.
Due to difficulties with pollination, millerandage is often observed on the bunches, where large and small berries coexist. The variety prefers sandy soils. Wines made from it are characterized by a rounded taste with a slight bitterness, an alcohol level of 12–14%, and low acidity. At present, the variety has the status of near-extinct.
