Variety description

The variety is an interspecific hybrid containing 50% Vitis vinifera and 50% Vitis labrusca. The vines are vigorous, with active shoot growth. The variety belongs to the early-mid maturity group and requires competent agricultural practices, including medium pruning of fruit canes.

Berries are medium-sized, round, pale red or bright purple-red in color with thin skin and juicy pulp, sometimes containing soft seed rudiments. Clusters are medium to large, with a loose structure. The taste is sweet, with a characteristic peculiar aroma with muscat or berry notes.

The variety possesses increased frost resistance down to -23...-24°C, but is sensitive to winter bud damage. It is resistant to most fungal diseases, with the exception of downy mildew. Sensitivity to drought, flower drop, and berry cracking during ripening is noted.
