The variety is a hybrid obtained from the crossing of Bacchus and Villard Blanc. In breeding registers, it may be designated under the number Gf. Ga-54-14. The variety belongs to the category of hybrids with increased resistance to fungal diseases.

The plant is characterized by high fertility: it is capable of forming up to four clusters on one shoot. During the ripening process, the berries are prone to easily separating from the pedicel. The variety demonstrates high resistance to downy mildew and sufficient resistance to powdery mildew, however, it may be susceptible to Botrytis infection.

Wines produced from this variety are close in taste characteristics to classic European Vitis vinifera varieties and do not possess a pronounced 'hybrid tone'.
