Variety description

The variety has a hermaphroditic flower and medium maturity. Leaves are predominantly three-lobed, wedge-shaped or pentagonal, with sparse pubescence on the underside. Bunches are small or medium, conical in shape, often with a pronounced "wing". Berries are white, round, medium or small in size, covered with a waxy bloom.

The plant has high yield, reaching 170–200 c/ha. The variety is characterized by medium resistance to downy mildew, lower susceptibility to grey mold compared to Sauvignon Blanc, and low frost resistance. Genetically, it is an independent variety, related to Pignoletto and Vernaccia di Oristano.
