The variety Soultanina B belongs to the species Vitis vinifera L. and is characterized by medium-sized berries with rudimentary seed traces. The berries have a golden color, a sweet taste, and are highly valued for the absence of full seeds, which makes them the primary raw material for the production of the dried product — sultana.
This grape is considered one of the most widespread in the world. Agrotechnical parameters and disease resistance indicators vary depending on regional climatic conditions, as the variety is cultivated in a multitude of zones with a subtropical climate.
