The plant reaches a height of 35–50 cm and forms a rosette of flat, narrow leaves 20–25 cm long and 4–5 cm wide. The inflorescence with a short peduncle has a red-salmon shade with possible splashes of a darker red color. The length of the flower spike is 25–30 cm with a diameter of 15–20 cm.
The variety is hardy, capable of tolerating humidity fluctuations, but requires diffused light. Flowering usually occurs in summer, and the inflorescence maintains its decorative qualities for 6–8 weeks. The plant is used as a potted crop for indoor landscaping or for cultivation in open field.
