The bush has a compact, rounded, densely branched shape with a semi-upright growth habit. The plant height and width are 90–120 cm. The foliage is green, and the flowers are tubular with a wine-red, cherry-red, or deep red-blue hue.

The variety is repeat-flowering: the main flowering occurs in late spring, with secondary flowering continuing throughout the summer. The plant is winter-hardy (USDA zones 5–8, down to -28°C), undemanding, and resistant to urban conditions. It is used in landscape design for creating accents, borders, mass plantings, and hedges.
