Variety description

The plant is a densely branched shrub with graceful arching shoots. The width of a mature specimen is 1.2–1.5 meters. The foliage retains its intense dark hue throughout the entire growing season.

Main flowering occurs in late spring and early summer, with sporadic repeat flowering possible during the season. The shrub prefers sunny locations where the leaf color is most saturated, but it is capable of tolerating light partial shade.

The variety is characterized as low-maintenance and withstands temperature drops down to -29°C. It is used in landscape design for creating hedges, borders, as well as for container gardening and solitary plantings.
