Compact shrub with short internodes. During the summer period, the foliage changes color from deep green to purple.
Flowering occurs in May-June. A characteristic feature is white tubular flowers with a funnel-shaped throat and purple calyces. The variety prefers sunny locations, but tolerates partial shade.
