The variety NEZAKO belongs to the species Weigela florida. Its main distinguishing feature is the golden color of the foliage, reflected in the trade name of the variety.
During variety trials, low resistance of the plant to sunlight exposure was identified. In climatic conditions with high insolation, severe damage to the leaf blade in the form of sunscald is noted.
