The shrub has a compact, rounded form. The leaves are bright green, with reddish shades potentially appearing on young shoots in spring. The height and width of a mature plant are typically 75–90 cm.
The variety is reblooming. Abundant initial flowering occurs in late spring or early summer, followed by repeat flowering throughout the summer and autumn. The funnel-shaped flowers are carmine-red with a white eye.
The variety is characterized as hardy, withstanding frosts in the USDA hardiness zone range of 4–9. The plant exhibits high tolerance to urban environmental conditions and prefers full sun and well-drained soils.
