Variety description

The shrub is characterized by a rounded crown and reaches a height of 1.2–1.5 m with a width of 0.9–1.2 m. The leaves have an elliptical shape and a saturated dark green color; young shoots may have a brownish tint. The variety was obtained as a result of open pollination of the variety Red Prince.
Flowering begins in late spring. The plant possesses resistance to diseases, pests, and adverse urban environmental conditions, and is adapted to hardiness zones 4–7. It is used in landscape design as a solitary plant, in hedges, mixed borders, and container gardening.
