A method of landscape placement for gladioli in groups or mixed borders, requiring specific cultivation techniques due to stem height and bulb sensitivity to waterlogging.

When placing gladioli in flowerbed compositions, a bouquet planting method or the creation of dense groups is preferred; in mixed borders, the plants are positioned in the second or third tier due to the significant height of the stems, which can reach 1.5 meters.

A key feature of the cultivation technique for such plantings is the creation of raised beds up to 60 centimeters high to ensure proper drainage, as the crop does not tolerate stagnant water. Furthermore, in flowerbed conditions, it is mandatory to provide supports for staking flower stalks and to use mulching to facilitate soil maintenance.
