Dry matter yield depends significantly on varietal characteristics and agricultural practices, ranging from 1.5–3.3 t/ha up to 5.9 t/ha for single-cut lines. This indicator changes depending on the growth stage, allowing agronomists to determine the optimal harvesting time for obtaining the maximum amount of nutrients.
