Barley yield

Hordeum vulgare L.

Barley yield is an integral indicator of productivity, measured by the mass of grain per unit area at a standard moisture content of 12–14%. It is determined by the balance of stand density, number of grains per ear, and 1000-grain weight.

Under stress conditions or drought, the yield of spring forms can drop to 20–25 dt/ha.
