The height of a blueberry bush is measured as the vertical distance from the soil surface to the highest point of the plant's aerial part during full fruiting. Based on this trait, cultivars are classified into low-bush (up to 60–90 cm), high-bush (from 1.2 to 2.5 m), and large specimens reaching 3 m or more.

This parameter determines the technological approach to cultivation: high-bush forms require intensive pruning to control crowding and increase canopy light penetration. Furthermore, bush height influences the choice of planting density on the plantation and the risk of frost damage to shoots extending above the snow cover in regions with severe climates.
