The variety was developed from the progeny of six clones selected from samples found on old golf courses. The plant is characterized by medium turf density, fine texture, and bright green color. It exhibits a prostrate growth habit, is not prone to forming a "puffiness" effect, and shows good competitiveness against Poa annua.
The variety possesses resistance to dollar spot and copper spot, as well as snow mold and take-all patch diseases. It belongs to temperate climate crops. It is intended for the establishment or overseeding of golf course turf, including greens and fairways, due to its compatibility in appearance with other varieties.
