The variety is the result of crossing an old flat-bulb variety with a traditional pear-shaped variety. In terms of its characteristics and classification, the variety is close to the 'Shallot' type.
The bulbs have a round, slightly angular shape and yellow color. A high dry matter content ensures a long storage life for the variety. The plant has good tolerance to powdery mildew.
