The variety forms small to medium-sized bulbs that have a flattened shape. The skin and flesh are white, resembling ivory or a silvery-white shade. The plant height is about 40 cm.
The onion belongs to very early varieties, not intended for long-term storage. It is used primarily fresh, for salads, and also as spring onion; the dark green leaves are also used in cooking.
The plant is not sufficiently winter-hardy, so it is recommended for regions with a mild climate. Spring sowing is possible, as well as winter sowing in late summer or autumn in regions with suitable conditions.
