The plant forms tubular dark green leaves with a waxy bloom. The bulb has a cylindrical or oval shape, reaching 12 cm in length with an average weight of about 60 g. The outer scales are colored bright red or red-violet, while the internal flesh has a white or pinkish hue.
The variety is early or mid-early with a growing period of about 80 days. The crop is characterized by drought and low temperature tolerance. The onion is suitable for fresh consumption, in salads, as well as for frying, grilling and caramelizing, or harvesting at the green onion stage.
