The variety is a stable open-pollinated population forming a rosette of pinnately dissected leaves 30–40 cm in height; during the flowering period, the plant can reach 80 cm. The taste and aroma of the leaves resemble a mixture of parsley, anise, and tarragon.

The period from emergence to harvest is 14–20 days. The crop is sensitive to heat, which triggers premature flowering; however, there are lines adapted to various growing conditions. The plant is susceptible to fungal diseases, in particular powdery mildew.
