The variety forms a rosette of dark green smooth leaves with a height of 20 to 60 cm. The plant has a mild sweetish aroma with notes of anise and fennel. It is used as a culinary herb for salads, soups, sauces, fish and egg dishes.

The variety is late-bolting, which extends the harvest period. The plant is cold-hardy and develops well in partial shade. Early flowering is possible with excess sunlight and heat. Suitable for cultivation in open ground and pots, requires sufficient soil moisture.
