The plant shows vigorous development. The stalks are characterized as large, broad, glossy, medium green in color, quite long and tender. Stalk height reaches 25–30 cm depending on agricultural practices. The variety is traditionally classified in the group popular in the Mediterranean region for spring and autumn planting.

The variety is intended for fresh consumption, and for adding to salads and soups. It is also known under the name Plein Blanc Lepage. It is distinguished by an easy stalk blanching technique.
