The Rubina variety, also known as Fertődi 1/7, is a mid-season crop, maturing in the second ten-day period of August. The shrub, 1.5–2.0 meters in height, has a loose cylindrical shape with drooping shoots. The plant is self-fertile and possesses high yield, reaching 6.3–8.9 kg per shrub.
Black-colored fruits with a waxy bloom weigh on average 1.18–1.8 g. Foliage, green in summer, turns yellow, orange-red, or purple in autumn. The variety is fully winter-hardy, resistant to diseases, prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations, and well-drained moist soils.
