The shrub reaches a height of 1.5 to 2.5 meters and has a multi-stemmed upright crown, which becomes more spreading with age. The plant is prone to forming root suckers and demonstrates high adaptability to various soil types, including wet, dry, and sandy soils.
The fruits are purple-black or dark violet berries with a diameter of 0.8–1.5 cm and a weight of 1–1.6 g, ripening from mid-July to September. The berries are distinguished by a sweet taste with slight astringency and are rich in vitamins and antioxidants.
The variety is self-fertile and does not require cross-pollination for stable fruiting. The plant possesses high resistance to diseases, pests, wind, and soil salinity, as well as high winter hardiness.
