The variety is a triploid hybrid with an upright bush form. The height of a mature plant is 90–150 cm, the width is about 90–100 cm. The shrub does not form root suckers, which prevents its aggressive spreading.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness (USDA zone 3, down to -40°C) and is adapted to various soil types, including clay. It is resistant to lodging due to its dense structure. In spring, it blooms profusely with white inflorescences; in autumn, the foliage takes on shades of red, orange, and gold.
