The variety is intended for cultivation in open field. Morphologically, the root crops are uniform cylinders 15–20 cm long and weighing 120–350 g. The surface of the root crop is smooth, the flesh is dark red, juicy, without pronounced light rings.
The plant height is about 40 cm. The variety shows resistance to diseases and bolting, but is sensitive to low temperatures at early stages of development. Maturity dates in different sources vary from mid-early to late-maturing.
The variety is for universal use, suitable for fresh consumption, processing, and long-term storage. Under proper conditions, it retains its commercial quality for 6–7 months.
