The variety forms cylindrical root crops with dark purple skin and intensely colored flesh. The flesh is uniform, without visible light rings, and is distinguished by a sweet taste. The leaf rosette height is about 15 cm; the leaves themselves are green with dark red venation on long dark red petioles.
The plant possesses increased tolerance to powdery mildew and cercospora leaf spot. The variety is of universal use, suitable for fresh consumption, processing, and long-term storage. The yield is 50–60 t/ha. Recommended sowing is carried out from the third ten-day period of April through June, harvesting from the end of June to October.
For cultivation, sunny plots with fertile, moist loamy soils with a pH level above 6.5 are preferred.
