The Redval F1 hybrid has mid-early maturity, ranging from 50–55 days from emergence. Root crops are characterized by a round shape, smooth surface, and firm flesh of an intense dark red color with high sugar content.

The plant has a vigorous, upright leaf apparatus, which allows for mechanized harvesting by the tops. A key feature of the variety is its resistance to the rhizomania virus, which makes it suitable for cultivation in infested soils.
