The variety belongs to the mid-early maturity group, with a period from germination to harvest of about 60 days. The plant forms a compact or semi-erect bush with medium to dark green leaves, the surface of which can be smooth or slightly blistered.

A distinctive morphological feature of the variety is its large, fleshy petioles, up to 7–8 cm wide, having a silvery-white hue. The plant is characterized by good resistance to bolting.

The variety is suitable for cultivation in the open field from spring to autumn. The plant's leaves are consumed like spinach, and the wide petioles are prepared similarly to asparagus or cardoons.
