Variety description

The plant is compact, reaching 45–60 cm in height. The leaves are dark green, smooth, and medium to large in size. The main distinguishing feature is the broad, fleshy, silvery-white petioles.

The growing period from emergence to harvest is 55–60 days. The variety has good endurance and resistance to bolting. Suitable for producing both baby leaves and mature plants, it tolerates freezing well.

The variety is adapted to a wide range of sowing dates, including autumn and winter periods depending on the climatic zone. It is a traditional population variety of Italian breeding.
