The variety forms large, vigorously growing bushes with a height from 60 to 150 cm, with individual specimens reaching 180 cm. The leaves are smooth, large, with pronounced venation and a characteristic greyish-green hue. No head is formed.

The plant is characterized by good adaptability to various conditions and resistance to some pests of brassica crops. It is traditionally used for continuous leaf harvesting in cooking and can also be used as a forage or ornamental crop.
