The variety forms conical heads weighing 0.5–1 kg with thin veins and a delicate sweet taste. Due to lower density than that of round varieties, the leaves separate easily, which is convenient for preparing cabbage rolls.
The variety is very early when sown in autumn, allowing for harvest at the end of May. For spring-summer sowings, harvesting is carried out in September–October; the variety is also suitable for overwintering in the ground when sown in August to obtain a harvest the following spring.
