The Precocissimo di Napoli variety is characterized as very early. The plant has a short, thin stem and forms a small number of outer leaves.
The heads are medium-sized, round, slightly flattened in shape, and grayish-green in color. The recommended planting pattern in open field assumes an interval between plants of about 60 cm.
The variety is suitable for harvesting in the autumn period provided that sowing occurs in July-August. It belongs to traditional varieties; detailed data on yield and disease resistance are unavailable.
