Mid-early hybrid with an upright plant type and a vegetation period of 60–75 days. The heads are dense, well-closed, have a height of about 25 cm and a diameter of about 15 cm, with a weight ranging from 1.2 to 1.5 kg. The leaves are colored a deep purple-red both on the outside and inside.
The hybrid is resistant to bolting and tip burn, and has good storage characteristics. The population may not be 100% genetically uniform; plants with green leaves are occasionally encountered. Sufficient calcium supply is necessary for cultivation.
The recommended planting density is 60–65 thousand plants per hectare; the optimal planting period is from mid-May to the end of August at temperatures above 16 ºC. The hybrid is intended for fresh consumption, use in salad mixes, and heat treatment.
