Variety description

Compact, densely branched shrub with arching branches, reaching a height of 1.0–1.5 m. Leaves are dark green, lanceolate. The plant possesses relative drought tolerance and high ornamental value.
Flowers are bright blue, deep violet-blue or dark blue, gathered in large panicles 20–30 cm long. The flowering period lasts from June to September. The variety is hardy, belongs to USDA hardiness zones 5–9 and attracts pollinating insects.
