Compact mound-shaped shrub 51–71 cm tall and 46–61 cm wide. Foliage is dense, dark green. Flowers of a light purple-pink shade are gathered in paniculate inflorescences.
Flowering is prolonged, from spring to late summer. The plant possesses high drought tolerance after establishment, tolerates rain, and is resistant to downy mildew. Root system winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zone 5a.
