The variety is a complex third-generation interspecific hybrid derived from Buddleja davidii, Buddleja globosa, and Buddleja lindleyana. The plant is a compact, bushy shrub with spreading stems ranging from 60 to 100 cm in height, sometimes up to 150 cm. The leaves are elliptical or lanceolate, grey-green in color.
The blue-violet inflorescences have a light fragrance. Flowering is abundant, continuing from July until the first frosts. The variety exhibits male sterility and low female fertility, which limits seed production.
The plant belongs to hardiness zone 6; in colder regions, the above-ground part may die back with subsequent recovery in the spring. It prefers sunny sites with well-drained soil. It is suitable for creating borders, group plantings, and container cultivation.
