Variety description

The variety is a complex hybrid derived from Buddleja davidii, B. alternifolia, B. caryopterifolia, B. lindleyana, and B. crispa. The plant forms a compact, spreading bush about 100 cm tall; maximum values under favorable conditions can reach 2 meters.

The purple flowers are gathered in upright panicles; flowering occurs on current-year shoots starting from the summer period. The foliage and shoots have grayish pubescence. The variety withstands frosts down to -25°C, tolerates urban conditions well, and requires sunny or semi-shaded areas with fertile, permeable soil.

To maintain ornamental quality, it is recommended to remove spent inflorescences. Spring pruning of shoots to a height of 20–30 cm from ground level promotes intensive development of young shoots and abundant flowering.
