ActiveBuddleja L. · Buddleia
Werner Dennis J. / Snelling Layne K.
10 August 2026
The plant reaches a height of 100–150 cm, possesses upright shoots and narrow light-green foliage. Large spike-like inflorescences 15–20 cm long (sometimes up to 40 cm) have a bright pink or violet-pink shade.
The variety belongs to USDA hardiness zones 5–9. In conditions of the central region, the above-ground part may freeze, which requires light covering and annual spring pruning to shape the crown and prevent the lower part of the bush from becoming bare.
The plant attracts butterflies and bees and is valued for its long flowering period and honey-like floral scent. In trade, the variety is known under the Peacock brand.
