The variety is a complex interspecific hybrid obtained from crossing Buddleja weyeriana Honeycomb with a seedling from Buddleja marrubiifolia and a Buddleja davidii × Buddleja crispa hybrid. The plant was created as a sterile hybrid to prevent uncontrolled spread.
The mature shrub reaches a height of 1.8–2.4 m and a width of 1.2–1.8 m. The inflorescences are large conical panicles. The variety is characterized by high drought and heat tolerance and is suitable for cultivation in hardiness zones 5a–10b.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
