The shrub has a dense, spreading, rounded crown. Leaves are lanceolate, dark green, with a silvery tint on the underside. Upright spike-like inflorescences reach 20–30 cm in length, their color changing from deep cherry-pink to purple-violet.
Flowering occurs on current-year shoots, beginning in mid-summer and continuing until autumn. The variety is characterized by the sterility of its inflorescences, which prevents seed formation. The plant is frost-hardy, withstands temperatures down to -23°C, and exhibits high resistance to powdery mildew and rots.
To maintain compactness and stimulate flowering, the variety requires severe annual pruning in late winter or early spring at a height of 15–50 cm from ground level. It is used in landscape design for solitary and group plantings, mixed borders, and container cultivation.
