Variety description

The plant forms a compact branched shrub 50 to 120 cm in height with a horizontal or arching growth habit. The foliage has a gray-green or silvery-green hue. Fragrant flowers are gathered in panicle inflorescences and have a distinct violet-purple color.

The variety blooms from June to October and attracts pollinating insects. The plant is able to withstand frosts down to -20°C...-25°C and is characterized as non-invasive. To maintain shape and stimulate flowering, annual spring pruning of the shrub to a height of 20–25 cm is recommended.
