Variety description

The variety is a deciduous shrub with a spreading form and arching shoots, reaching a height of 1.5 to 3 meters. The leaves are narrow, gray-green, with a distinct cream or yellowish margin. Small fragrant flowers of a reddish-purple shade are gathered in long paniculate inflorescences; the flowering period lasts from July to October.

The plant prefers sunny areas with well-drained, moderately moist soils and does not tolerate waterlogging. The variety is prone to the appearance of shoots with completely green leaves, which must be removed to maintain variegation. In cold regions, freezing of the aerial part is possible, requiring spring pruning.
