Variety description

The variety was bred by crossing the varieties Blue Chip and Miss Molly. It is a complex hybrid with a pedigree including Buddleja davidii, B. lindleyana, B. globosa, and B. × weyeriana.

The shrub has a spreading habit and reaches 80 cm in width. The leaves are gray-green and elliptical. Fragrant flowers are gathered in panicle inflorescences; blooming continues until frost without the need for deadheading.

The plant produces virtually no seeds, making it non-invasive. Frost resistance is rated down to -20°C; the above-ground part may die back in winter. The variety is suitable for mass plantings, borders, and container gardening, and attracts butterflies and bees.
