Variety description

The plant is a compact, well-branched shrub 120 to 180 cm in height and up to 180 cm in width. The shoots are strong and not prone to lodging. The foliage has a characteristic silvery-green hue, and the flowers are gathered in large paniculate inflorescences of blue or blue-violet color.

The variety blooms continuously from early summer until the first frosts. It possesses the ability to have low seed set. Under production conditions, it requires control of spider mites. The plant is winter hardy in USDA zones 5–10, suitable for solitary plantings, hedges, and container cultivation.
