Variety description

The variety is a medium-sized deciduous shrub with an upright crown shape. The plant height varies from 0.8 to 2.1 m depending on growing conditions and pruning. The leaves are lanceolate and green in color.

The flowers are small, collected in large spike-like inflorescences up to 20 cm long. Their color varies from bright red to purple-red. The plant is remontant: flowering lasts from early summer until the first frosts, and removing faded inflorescences stimulates the appearance of new buds.

The shrub belongs to hardiness zones 5–9 and withstands temperatures down to -20°C. The variety is resistant to major diseases, air pollution, and drought after establishment. Due to its compact shape, it is not prone to lodging and is suitable for use in borders, mixed borders, and containers.
